Dr. M.D.S. Sasidharan is the Clinical Lead and Senior Consultant in Spine Surgery at Iswarya Hospital, OMR, Chennai. A fellowship-trained orthopaedic spine surgeon, he has assisted and performed over 5,000 major and minor spinal surgeries and is an expert in endoscopic (keyhole) spine surgery, minimally invasive surgery and non-fusion (VBT) scoliosis correction. His practice covers the full spectrum of spinal disorders — degenerative disease, deformity, tumours, infection and trauma — across the cervical, thoracic and lumbosacral spine. Trained under Dr. Sajan K. Hegde and Prof. S. Rajasekaran, with advanced fellowships in South Korea and Germany, he is committed to evidence-based, patient-first care using the least invasive option that resolves each patient's problem.
